In late October Elastoseal geomembrane was installed to serve as manure pit for a corporate of farmers in Lesjaverk, Norway. Although winter already had struck with 30 centimeters of snow on the ground the installation progressed without problems through good cooperation from the farmers and a one-piece panel prefabricated to fit the measures 40×50 meters and a depth of 4 meters. This is the biggest manure pit in the region and when evaluating the alternative it was by far the best value for money.
A special thanks to www.gd.no for nice reporting from the installation and allowing us to use pictures from their article.
